1) It is said that the true character of people will emerge in the face of crisis. While some succumb to their emotions, others will unconsciously deliberate an admirable act. While some exhibit bitterness, others will reflect on the tragic experiences and accept the reality as their destiny.

2) Certainly, the victims and affected family are the ones who will suffer the most from losing their love ones. Their pain and sorrow are indescribable beyond words. We can only pray for them and hope that they will prevail in the moments of trials and tribulations.

3) Just after midnight on 08/03/14, we were all jolted with the news that Malaysian Airline MH 370 went missing together with 239 passengers and crew members on board. Until today, that is 23 days after the airline vanished from the radar screen, the search still continues.

4) When Prime Minister Najib declared that the MH370 had ended its flight path at the Southern Indian Ocean, intensive SAR effort were redirected at that remote area. However, MH370 was still non traceable except for multiple satellite images discovered in and around that location which were said to be the potential debris of the missing plane.

5) Over the last three weeks, multinational efforts involving 26 countries including America, France, China and Australia were involved in the joint search and rescue mission. Assets, technology and manpower are being deployed in relentless efforts to solving the mystery of the ill-fated flight.

6) What actually happens to MH370 still remains a mystery which has led to diverse theories as to its disappearance and these speculations have also to some degree contributed to more anguish and confusion especially to the family members of the affected passengers and crews.

7) This crisis has also demonstrated how cultural diversities response to tragedy and misfortune. While some family members exhibited aggressive behavior others appeared more calm and accepted this malady as a test which they have to persevere and endure.

8) While it is only understandable how people react according to cultural and religious orientation, it's unfortunate that Malaysia has to take a severe bashing and blame especially from the international media. Even experts opined that the claim of incompetence on the part of Malaysian authorities is totally baseless and unfounded.

9) Western media and some international media agencies are also quick to belittle and discredit the SAR efforts lead by Malaysia. It is truly unwarranted when the international media which takes an obnoxious stand against the Malaysian recovery efforts has also become instrumental in causing disarray and rage especially amongst the family members.

10) In this difficult times, media should engage a more responsible role rather than aggravating the situation further. The freedom of expression and print must not be abused and manipulated. Even the Malaysian efforts in protecting the affected family members were misconstrued as restricting their movements and privacies. It seems that the international media is enjoying and takes pride in stirring human emotions.

11) Even at the home front, some unscrupulous politicians are also trying to gain political mileage with no respect for truth and reality. They also joined other international media with their negative commentaries at whatever efforts that are being carried out by the SAR operations to recover the missing plane.

12) Those who criticized our efforts are simply ignoring the fact that other countries are also involved directly in this joint operation by providing technical and technological support which are crucial pointers in locating the missing MH370. Even the Chinese satellites have given false lead about the possible wreckage during the SAR operation at the South China Sea but was never run down by the Malaysian public and media.

13) This is truly an unprecedented event never before in the history of aviation industry. There is a lot of lessons that can be learnt from this incident that we should all take cognizance to further enhance human understanding and cooperation especially in dealing with crisis.

14) The media should be sensitive and practice a good sense of moral duty to appease the crisis situation rather than racing to further broil the sentiments and emotions of the affected family members which may further lead to more anguish and paranoia.

15) This is the time to cooperate and understand each other. It 's really admirable that most Malaysians are united in our stand to defend all accusations and allegations that have been unfairly hurled at our SAR efforts.

16) This is the time for us to show our support and encouragement to all the rescuers, the Malaysian authorities, the Malaysian public and the care givers who are doing their part to alleviate the anxiety and grief of the family members as well as the government of Malaysia for demonstrating such a high sense of responsibility and professionalism in dealing with this crisis.

17) The regional and international collaboration as well as all those involved in these joint efforts should be given the highest commendation and a special appreciation should also be given to Hishamudin and his team of professionals for being calm and compose in transmitting all corroborated and verified information to the press and public sometimes under intense and difficult situation.

18) Now that the SAR team is narrowing and refining the search area, our hope is for them to be given the spirit and encouragement to conduct their mission with much patience and determination. The anti Malaysian campaign by the Western media in this SAR mission should be neutralized with facts and professionalism.

19) As we are all children of god, it is to the almighty that we should seek guidance and direction. Let us continue to pray and hope for something miracle to happen to all the passengers and the crews on board MH 370 but at the same time to be prepared for any eventuality.

20) Last but not the least, let us all enjoin this difficult chapter of our lives in the spirit of unity and not let this episode divides our differences but enhances our diversities to ensure that togetherness, care and love triumphs from this sad tragedy.
